Payroll will be at $46.5 million in '13 with Lewis buyout. Not enough for max offer, per Zach Lowe of SI

Which is why I think they need to wait to spend the money until after 2013 season. Any idea who main free agents are then?

Would love to see them with two max or near max players and the two rookies under their contracts. Have those max or near max contracts expire in time to sign Davis and the #10 pick to long-term deals.

he also added that if the hornets amnesty Jack, it would put the team very close to being able to. another move, possibly, to cut a bit more space, and it could happen.

Stupid question maybe, but where do they get 46.5 from?

Gordon 15
Jack 5.5
Aminu 3
Smiht 2.5
Henry 2.3
Ayon 1.5
Vasquez 1.2

Wheres the other 15 mil from? Does buyout count against cap? (Hoopshype #'s)

Leaving us without a true center, I'd have to think Leonard and Zeller are moving up our board at #10, unless a second deal is in the works.

This MAY mean that Dell and Monty are looking at either Jason Smith or Anthony Davis as our long term solution at center.

The answer to the second question is yes, which covers the first.

Yes, buyout of $13.7 million or so counts.

You need to make up some implied connection with the T-Wolves. Like, "My cousin who is dating Michael Beasley's tailor said that....."
