bigtime 5 star that never panned out

When you start being selective with your time frames you can make anything sound nice and sunny.

"Just two seasons ago LSU went undefeated during the regular season! "

"LSU finally lost a game this saturday. We had been undefeated all season long before then!"

We are awesome. Yeah we haven't really won a bigtime game since 2011, and we've struggled this season already, and there are at least four other undefeateds from other conferences that control LSU's destiny more than LSU controls it's own destiny. This team is great though. We are in the top 10 and with our coaching staff that's all you can really ask for. We don't really pay enough money to our coaches to pull in a championships. We are too ridiculous when we ask for competence and a complete football team.

...and it's no fun watching other teams in your conference hold up crystal balls in january and dealing with their smack talking fans in your face.

It's fun to be the one doing the smack talking from the top o the mountain. I remember last decade when we did win some titles. Once you get a taste, the bar is set.

I do wish that all of our top offensive line recruits that were such studs when we recruited them could open up some good running lanes for our backs and provide better pass protection for Mett.

Jeremy Hill only getting 3 yards per carry (i dont know what his actual stats were, just what I saw) combined with O line penaltes kill offensive drives that we would otherwise march right down the field on.

SEC or NC, but we don't hold our coaches accountable like some other schools do. We are afraid that the untouchable millionaires might have a bad day with their feelings hurt if we are critical of the job they do at all. Poor guys. Their lives must be rough being coaches at LSU

and by golly, We just think les is a good ol family man.

Will we finish the season in the top ten?

Miles last year here will be 2015.

Hopefully Joe "No Nuts" Alleva will leave with him and we can get a head coach that we wont have to beg to go hire top notch assistants and stay the hell out of the way.

and an AD that has a set that wont stand for the screwjobs the SEC office puts on LSU when it comes to scheduling.

If LSU was the only thing I relied on for joy, you would be correct.

I love how people automatically think that if someone is real about the successes and failures of their football team, that said person must not have a life.

I don't hae the greatest job in the world or a family or vacations or anything. Im just a miserable old wretched hermit with no life and a sour face all the time

By contrast, I dont live in some weird "Stepford Wife" type of environment where a smile is plastered on my face when I'm watching the MNC game and the other sec teams are dancing and holding up trophies.
