Atlanta interest in Brandon

ESPN is saying Atlanta has some interest in Brandon.
Opinion request please: What can we get from them / who are we interested in ? Would love to have Dyson back, but I know he has been critical of the organization.
Would love to see two of our first round picks returned, plus maybe another young player ? Might have to take Larry Nance back.
Thanks all ... hope your Saturday is a good one.

Can’t, NBA rules do not allow for it
Probably be looking at something like Hunter and Bogi for Ingram and Theis

I’d tell them to kick rocks. BI should have been apart of the Murray deal. If they didn’t want him then, not getting him now. Unless they want to overpay.

And some firsts back…

Hunter and a first or 2 is probably better than nothing I suppose

We don’t get the luxury on this one of being spiteful. You take the best deal on the table.

Hunter is a good player but is always hurt, so he's a perfect fit

Maybe we can get some reverse luck and he stays healthy here

Yeah people on here are going to be very upset with the return we get for BI. It’s either a shite return, we let him walk for free, or maybe re-sign him and continue this purgatory pain train.
This is what happens when you don’t trade a player at his peak value knowing this core you have wont workout anyway. Will more than likely be the same for Herb and Zion if we keep them another year or two

It's not that. It just appears that BI is still not understanding that he's in the first group who has to face free agency with the impacts of the second apron.
Julius Randle is also in the same boat.
The way the non-super elite guys are going to be dealt with is going to be different moving forward. The second apron doesn't make that max deal automatic like it did 2 years ago.

Thanks SoggyMoss .... I vaguely recalled the rule after you mentioned it. Appreciate the correction.

They ain't trading Hunter. It'll be Bogdonavich, Capela and a pick for BI and JRE

Thay defeats the purpose of trading Ingram. No motivation for the Pelicans to consider a trade like that.

If the return is Capela and seconds, then I’d just hold him til the summer. There’s is no cap space this summer.
