Adam Silver is a f----- if he lets AD strongarm his way to LA and poison his trade value like this in the process.
frick the NBA regardless tho.

Yeah I'm with you on that one. I've been watching the NBA since 87-88 and I think I'm done. I dont like the direction the league has turned.
Whats the point of being a fan of a franchise knowing if you have q superstar that they will leave and link up with other superstars?
The chance of your small market team winning a championship is like winning the lottery.

Yeah, because it used to be so different back in the day. Small markets were winning it all the time back in the day!

Detroit, Philly, Portland wrnt to the finals, San Antonio.

Yeah, and Milwaukee can easily go this year. OKC has been close in recent years.
Point is that nothing has changed. Small market teams can make it. More times than not they won't, same as the past. But it's possible.
It has ALWAYS been unlikely, but possible. Same as it is now

True. But the way the league is going its gonna be 10 times harder with all the superstars trying to hop on the same few teams.
That OKC back when they went to the finals built through the draft with Durant, Westbrook, and Harden.
Golden State had my respect when they won the first one with Steph, Klay, and Draymond because they built through the draft.

I get that all-stars are teaming up but in my opinion the nba might get very interesting in the next few years. You have several teams that will have atleast 2 all stars and alot of small market teams with draft picks and assests they get for their all star. Look at Dallas for example. We could have better players around our picks than they do and could still find a doncic or 2 good guys with our picks for the future.

The only way is to build a deep roster of really good players and no superstars like the Spurs did (Unless you count Duncan) and have a good coach committed to the organization. Then continue to make smart, key FA acquisitions and hit on good players in the draft.

The biggest issue I have is constantly checking tiggerdropping for updates on all of this even though I just checked a minute ago

Yes, impossible to get work done

Uh, you kinda have to count Duncan. A 2 time league MVP is kind of a superstar.

Op should update original post that shows what each team is potentially offering for AD
We need a quick recap somewhere to keep track and debate which option would be best for the Pelicans

Now rumors of Kyrie trying to get up in the Lakers crib. This shite is dumb.

It is, but the threat of Kyrie leaving is exactly why Boston will be all in on an AD trade this summer. Trade Tatum/Filler/picks for AD and have AD/Kyrie as your best players. Don't and have Tatum alone as your best player.

What is the earliest a Boston trade can be completed?

I would think we'd probably be looking at a "draft day trade" that gets officially completed in July.
