I wonder why we have not signed him
If you're a minimum guy, there's really no need to rush right now.

If Theis is a minimum guy, we're potentially competing with a bunch of teams, which means it's not really up to us and wondering why we haven't signed him yet. It's probably him just weighing his options to see what shakes out.

I really think every FA center out there should be calling the Pels every 5 minutes. We are the only team in the league without a starter, so anyone that signs would immediately be able to compete for a starting job.

What other team would give him the opportunity that we could? It is all about increasing your value for next offseason at this point.

Depends on if we trade BI for a center like Allen. I imagine Theis will want to wait that out because there's no need to rush and his role here could change dramatically going forward.

I feel confident that Theis is going to get more than the minimum. Not necessarily a lot more, but some.

I think we really missed the boat not signing Andre Drummond. I would have liked the C group with Drummond, Paul Reed and Missi. No shooting there but a lot of rebounding and defensive presence. I’m amazed we haven’t signed a reliable backup with size yet

Looking at his stats he gets better as he goes from HS to the Pro's.

They have a ton of cap space and a $7m center may be worth some draft capital down the road.

Damn. Sucks, we REALLY could've used him. We still need a starting 5 and a backup 4/5.

Definitely don’t get that, surely the sixers looked at the trade market for him. Is he really going to get playing time behind Duren and Beef Stew?

They'll probably trade him in-season because they already got alot of bigs. They don't really need him.

He might get playing time behind one of them if the other is traded to the Pels.
