This is so sad of a combination the only thing that’ll make it funny is watching LeBron have to deal with it along with Toní and Westbrick. Honestly have no clue how LeBron continues playing on say a Tuesday in Sacramento with lineups like this by the time it’s January/February

Not if she can dump 3!

It’s also extremely one-sided in favor of UT which is what we want
Replace Westbrook with Gay, Beverly and Bogdanovic is pretty darn nice. Those 3 would play major minutes for the Lakers. Has to be an improvement with talks of buying out or sitting Westbrook altogether..

Most conspiracy theories become conspiracy facts if dumb people would check these things out for themselves. But with a dumb lazy society the main stream narrative makes things easy for their little brains so they don’t have to think for themselves.

lebonk and Toni are the only players on the lakers roster who would start/close on any other NBA team that is trying to win. That’s 2 out of the 15 man roster

You forgot the accent on his name. It’s Toní…

No, 99% of conspiracy theories are false and believed by the gullible who get suckered into believing them. Those poor folks lack the requisite knowledge or expertise to actually evaluate the conspiracies. Plenty of ignorant people pretend that they can "check out for themselves" whether vaccines work, for example. But they didn't study science and medicine for 8 years, as doctors do. They haven't even taken a statistics class. They have zero ability to actually "check out for themselves" whether vaccines work or whether they are helpful or harmful.
So, those people have to trust someone else, because you lack the knowledge or expertise to evaluate it for yourself. So, whose word do you trust?
What you call "checking these things for yourself" amounts to you finding the huckster that you want to find, to tell you what you want to believe. Because believing that you know something secret that everyone else has gotten wrong? Well, that makes you feel special and smart, doesn't it? You are right and all those doctors with their fancy degrees are wrong. Besides, you've got a doctor or two on your side too, right (you don't realize that they are in on the con)?
In addition, people who believe conspiracy theories are often isolated and lonely. Part of the reason that they are so much more prevalent now than in the past is that our society is breaking down, people are more separated from extended family, and many people have fewer friends than previous generations.
That lack of friends, that loneliness, leads to misanthropy. It leads to thinking that many people are are actively and intentionally evil. It's why you would think that doctors and scientists who have, in truth, devoted their entire lives to trying to protect you, are actually trying to poison you. It's why you would think that election workers, who in truth are patriotic people who care passionately about democracy and fair elections, are secretly in league to steal elections and destroy American democracy. It's why some people, like Kyrie, would even think that scientists have been lying for hundreds of years in a grand conspiracy to deny that the world is flat.
Again, it's the loneliness and isolation that distorts the accurate picture of human nature -- that's why people believe in conspiracies. In reality, everyone has a conscience, and almost no one is a true sociopath and intentionally does evil. When people do evil things, they try to justify them to themselves to ease their consciences ("he deserved the mean thing I did to him, because of what he did to me").
In the real world, the Bond villain doesn't have hundreds of minions who are happy to aid him in his plan to conquer the world and subject it to his personal rule. HYDRA wouldn't plan to kill 20 million people, because of the thousands of members of HYDRA, a number of them would get a guilty conscience and confess.
The truth is that conspiracies don't work unless everyone is convinced that they are doing the right thing, and that secrecy is critically important. I worked in politics for years, and the truth is that no one can keep a secret. If you tell ten people something and they promise not to tell, you might as well have announced in a press release. When people don't feel guilty about a conspiracy, they are excited and tell their friends, family, and girlfriends, and the secret is instantly out.

Hey, if Longhorn can hijack the thread as badly as he has, I can reply to Wadey's post about conspiracy theories and explain to him why he's a nutter.

"If everyone believed in conspiracies there would be no conspiracies".

So what you are saying is that it has never happened in human history, a vaccine that was pushed out by doctors and scientist with your well being in mind but ultimately ended up being harmful in the end? Never happened before huh.
