Having said that, the chances of Rob Pelinka having the guts to trade Davis while he's playing like this, to say nothing of the Klutch factor, feels pretty close to zero.
Klutch factor, lulz.
Trade Toní, take your lumps, give us our pick, and try to rebuild. That’s the smart thing. They won’t do that because of the Klutch factor, lol.

The Lakers can Klutch this...

AD is blowing the league away right now and the Lakers are starting to unfortunately win (7-3 in last 10 games).

Him playing like this has go be appealing for a team like Chicago.
He can go home, be the man, probably only cost you vucevic, white, Williams + some picks.

It's down to 11 points. Unfortunately, the Wizards don't have Beal, as he left with hamstring tightness.

Davis was averaging 32 and 15 in his last 10 games and just went 55 and 17.
Have to tip your cap to him for the zone he is currently in.

yep, playing the best he has ever played.
Westbrook has also bought into that bench role and playing his most efficient minutes of his career.

No one ever said AD lacked talent. He used to put up monster lines and have runs with the Pels like this multiple times. It’s why he was called an MVP contender multiple times while with Nola.
That said, they are 8-2 in their last 10, but of the 8 wins, 4 are against the Spurs and Detroit who are a combine 12-37.
The other 3 of the 4 remaining wins are vs teams at below 0.500 or 1 game above 0.500 and that was Milwaukee.
They are not as bad as their start, but have yet to consistently beat good teams.
Current conference standings place of each win:
15
15
15
14
11
8
8
2
So they have beaten one team that would currently be guaranteed a playoff spot if they started today.

who said I was ever gone?
I don't have to post constantly complaining or trying to watch the needle move up or down.
The NBA season is similar to a baseball season....
It's a marathon not a sprint.
Also have to have realistic thoughts and expectations. I can't deal with the people who float in and out of what is basketball and what is not. It's still December. Re-visit this type of chatta late January going into the All-Star Break.

Enjoying the ups and downs of the early season. So much going on. Small wins everywhere in each game no matter the outcome.
Build on those small wins and the end result will be something special.
