Another way to look at it is that they have already lost roughly 8.5% of their total of 82 games by 9 points or more and they aren't even 15% through the season.

Even if Lebron only misses the next few games, it would still be a crucial stretch for them.

They get the Kings, Spurs, Pistons and Nets. That's a stretch of games where they could claw themselves out IF Bron plays. If he doesn't...ohhh baby

Right. There next four games (Kings, Pistons, Nets, and Spurs) are all at home, and those teams are a combined 17-28.

They would have been favored against the Kings and Pistons for sure. But if LeBron is out, then they could fail to capitalize on this easy stretch.

Because that will culminate a opening stretch to the season with 10 of their first 15 games at home. After this homestand, though, they will have 16 out of their next 22 on the road.

We’re talking about the Lakers needing to be at full strength to beat lottery teams.

LeBron James (left adductor strain) is doubtful for Friday's game against the Kings.

I’ve changed my 25 max win prediction for the lakers from 25 to 20. This is going to be epic.

Teams with a -8.4 net last year:
27-55 (Portland) -8.9
20-62 (Houston) -8.5

the year prior:
22-50 (Cleveland) -8.5
21-51 (Orlando) -9.3

So the lakers big surprise target is Bradley Beal lol.

What a perfect fit. A no defense playing chucker who has never won shite, is hurt a lot and isn’t a good 3 point shooter.

Sign him up!!!

MOTHER OF GOD

rustle's 47MM outgoing obviously makes an in-season trade work, but look at the next year

james $47MM
davis $41MM
beal $47MM

$135MM for three players, one of which will be 39 years old. the 2023 salary cap is projected at $134MM.

This is wild to say for an NBA team, but Joe Wieskamp and Tony Snell would instantly be a top 3 shooter for them

Nunn isn’t very good but is he hurt or did they finally realize he sucks? I’m surprised he hasn’t played more given their lack of depth but he’s bad lol.

Westbrook is currently their best player right now (can’t believe I’m saying that). So definitely do it Lakers.

the gift that keeps on giving. after reading your projection I just started caring which pick number the lottery provides.
I'll have to check out the mocks.
