The Lakers are the NBA version of the Saints. Living off of the glory years, underachieving in every game, but fans can't root for the tank because a better, younger team owns their first round pick.

So I went back and looked at the 11 games that the Lakers have played and they have lost by 10 points or more in 6 of them. Below are the "close" games they played.
Lost to Clippers by 6
Lost to Blazers by 2
Lost to TWolves by 9
Beat Nuggets by 11
Beat Pels by 3 in OT
If you take out the TWolves game (as they only lost by 9), they are 2-2 in games where they don't lose by 9 or more points, with one of those being our OT game that Dyson gift wrapped to them.
In other words, of their 9 losses, only one of them has been by a single possession.
