Oh I know!!! He’s one of my fav non blazers players so it’s a pipe dream. I genuinely think if CJ gets traded Pele only give up Hart, Sato, Hayes and a second.

CJ has 0 value outside of that

From a Blazers fan who wanted Herb (hes untouchable). Lets you know exactly how much people here overvalue CJ. Hell, if thats all their own fans think hes worth, we may be able to get him for Sato, Temple, Hart and no picks.

As the Charlotte Hornets fell apart in the second half of a home loss to the Miami Heat, drama played out on their bench. Head coach James Borrego and rookie guard James Bouknight had an argument, which resulted in Bouknight being sent to the locker room.

Borrego seemed to stay something to Bouknight, who stood up to challenge his coach. An assistant coach had to hold Bouknight back, as Borrego turned his attention back to the floor. A Hornets staffer then led Bouknight to the locker room for the remainder of the contest.

Something to keep an eye on maybe

I would bet that Gayle has told Griffin that she would like for us to trade Jaxson.

We know that Gayle wants our players to be role models, and first with the "NBA can suck my dick" and then with the arrest and charges filed, I feel confident in saying that Jaxson isn't representing the team in ways that she wants.

It's been obvious that, in a deal for either McCollum or Fox, we're dealing Hart and Sato for sure, and then we're including either Jaxson or NAW, and then picks of some kind.

With the way Jaxson has played lately, I know that most of us would rather keep him than Nickeil, but I think that Gayle wants to trade Jaxson, and I think that Nickeil is great in the locker room and everyone likes him (and I've never heard anyone say that about Jaxson), so I feel confident that we're more likely to send Jaxson out.

The way that he is playing makes Jaxson a more valuable chip, though, lessening the pick compensation we have to include in whatever deal happens.

If that is even halfway true, Gayle is unfit to run both franchises.

Ehhh, if shes allowing Bienemy to interview with the Saints with his history, i doubt what Jax has done bothers her.

The only problem with that theory is we are talking about a trade to POR who is owner by Jody Allen. I can’t imagine Gayle wanting to ship Hayes because of those issues, but then Allen is cool with taking Hayes.

it’s her team she can do what she wants.
we don’t know how hayes is received in the locker room or how coachable he is, what his attitude is, etc. what’s clear is that he is very immature however

whether he becomes a legitimate NBA player or not I don’t think he’s any great loss, or in any way hard to replace given what we’ve seen so far. I had hoped he’d become a glue guy, that everyone loved having around. If that’s not the case (again we don’t know) then que sera

I don’t think Gayle is involved at all at this level. But Willie did seem surprised that Jaxson at the 4 has worked so well making me think it wasn’t his idea. Maybe it was an assistant, it was obvious to many of us here that it should work, but this close to the deadline I’m thinking it was the Front Office.

Hopefully the FO suggests benching Temple next.

David Fisher came up with this 4 teamer and the main question it seems to have is how many picks to the Pels need to give to make it happen.

Pels: Fox, Huerter, Dieng
Hawks: Ben Simmons
76ers: Buddy, John Collins, Josh Hart
King: Tobias Harris, Satoransky, Jaxson

Pels get Fox and Huerter, for Hart/Jax/Sato. I think we'd all be very happy with that depending on the draft pick cost.

Hawks give up Collins and Huerter for Simmons, that actually seems reasonable for Atlanta.

76ers don't get an All Star but they do get good players that immediately make them better. Fisher also thinks the Pels send them a 1st.

Kings get Tobias Harris and Jaxson Hayes. Not terrible, and it seems like they want to move on from Fox, but I feel they'd want more than those players and the 1 1st Fisher figured they deserve for this.

1) Would Philly do this? Morey seems hell bent on an All Star player return to the point that he's flirting with making Harden the next Westbrook.
2) Would 2 picks be enough to make Sacramento happy?
3) Would you pay Hart/Jax/3 protected 1sts for Fox/Huerter?

Too much for Fox/Huerter imo.

I’m not too high on Fox

I would do Hart, Jax, a first and seconds, MAYBE 2 1sts if im getting something else of value back.

I don't see why Philly would need a pick being theyre getting off Harris's deal also, and the only way i send them a pick is if i get a player like Thybulle back, or flip them 2nds for Springer

Yeah, a follow up tweet suggested maybe Philly needs to send a 1st to Sac to cover Harris' bad contract and getting under the tax, which would reduce our outgoing 1sts to 1.
