The problem is partially that sports can also be a PR game. Griffin has had some real bad PR and a national media that is absolutely gleeful to destroy us. He needed to throw a little caution to the wind and get some moves done. And couldn’t.
Hopefully there’s some tricks up his sleeve but now that we are done day 2. It’s starting to look a little dark.

I get where you are coming from . I’m not defending Griff.
I made the point previously that this isn’t a Griff specific issue , however. There have been numerous GMs since this franchise came to NOLA and we have signed 2 notable free agents . The market is viewed poorly. The only thing that helps to overcome that is winning which we have not done enough of .
He swung for the fences on Lowry and struck out. Hit a single on the Graham deal but he’ s still on first . Has to get a few more hits to make the planning and being an above the cap team worthwhile .

That would be hilarious to be honest. I wouldn’t mind that at all. Josh has been kind of dickish as of late. Probably scaring some teams off along with him being a non shooting wing.

Something is going to get done. We have two more days to get a trade done and at this point, we sort of have to. I believe a trade will happen for a starting caliber player before the Memphis deal is finalized.
I think the main question at this point is how much are we gonna have to overpay and who for?

I"m pretty sure Graham/NAW/BI/Zion/JV are the starters. the weak spots are backup 2 and backup 4.

Unless they think Murphy will be ready to contribute as a bench shooter right away, it feels like they need to add more shooting at both the 2 and 4.
