I think they've obviously shifted their focus from FA to the trade market. They're probably looking for S&T destinations for Hart and finding the best spot to flip Sato.

And if that's the case, there isn't a rush to get anything done right now. The deadline is Friday whenever the Memphis deal finalizes and the flexibility that exists now starts to disappear.

Those 2 or Hield would make it a decent free agency, especially after missing on our first 2 or 3 options.

The way things have gone so far, I wish the Pels would’ve matched Lonzo and also done the Devonte Graham Sign and Trade. I’d feel much better about our overall situation right now.

Utah and Sacramento both have players they need to move. As more deals get done and the money dries up, Utah/Sac have fewer options and the Pels get more leverage. We probably don't want them to rush this.

Pelicans are currently at 15 contracts if you include Herb Jones.

There are a maximum of 15 NBA roster spots.

This doesn't include Josh Hart (they still hold RFA rights) and Willy Hernangomez (they still hold Bird Rights).

There's gotta be SOMETHING else.

Yes so KOC alleges. He’s with the Ringer which has an active agenda against this team did some bizarre reason so who cares.

Pels legend George Hill trying to get a ring. I don’t begrudge him.

Orlando has a ton of guards, four of whom deserve developmental reps, and three of whom are viable present-day options. Feels like a trade or two before training camp is in order.

Sigh, Niang is a nice, smart, stretch 4.

Yeah he is a solid role player. They got him for 2/6.7 too. Would have been a solid addition

I do wonder if Griffin has been working on deals and teams are just smelling the desperation and asking for more assets from us than you would expect for a salary dump.

I keep thinking that the Lonzo trade and the Graham trade aren't done but each passing hour I'm wondering the same, if talks have broken down some because they know they have us bent over a log.

One thing that's weird is I'm not sure where Garrett Temple fits in that trade. It was reported he was a part of the trade but he was a UFA, so we would have just signed him. There's no way he was actually a part of that, right?

National Sports shows just relentlessly roasting us probably doesn’t help.

Something needs to happen.
