Brian Windhorst says idea of LeBron teaming up with Luka is ‘something that you should put in your back pocket’ “He has drafted Luka Doncic all 3 years he’s been an All-Star. ... He tried to recruit Luka Doncic to his brand within Nike a few years ago."

First it was Curry now Bron wants to team up with Luka…Ruffles has to feel like the unwanted step child.

I think they'll be shocked at how little trade value LeBron has. Spencer Dinwiddie, a pick, and filler?

“I want Dames and 5 picks!”

“Best I can do is John Wall and some extra nets.”

No. That is not true. 58 is the minimum number that your score total can be divided by.

He is eligible. But His PPG is now 29.23. Which means he lost it.

quote:

* The only exception to this rule will be if, at the end of the season, the player would have led the league in the category had he played the required number of games with his current category total. For example, if Player A played 56 games and scored 1,590 points (28.4 ppg), Player A could still qualify for the league lead if his average (27.4) with that same point total (1,590) over 58 games was higher than any other player.

^^^ Straight from the NBA rule book.

Mavs struggle to get big FAs and, despite being consistently good, haven't won a playoff series since the title. Cuban would definitely take Lebron.

I think he would too, but he wouldn’t pay a king’s ransoms for it. It would be viewed as a short term acquisition.

LeBron still has value, as a high-tier 4 capable of being a secondary playmaker. Something he should have been doing, as well as committing to having a moderate defensive presence, over the last 5 years. I don't know if his ego can handle accepting that role but literally, no one wants to play the 'Pips' with no defense Point LeBron any longer. It's also boring basketball.

Having value and having a trade market are 2 very different things.

Dang, talk about dysfunctional. I mean Russ was the only one out there busting his arse all season. AD and LeBron are more to blame than Russ but Russ is taking the blame. He wasn't great, there's no doubt about it, and his contract is atrocious, but they would be even worse without him. What a jacked up locker room. I actually feel bad for the dude. He's the one that didn't get what he was expecting, not the other way around with AD and LeBron.

Russ, good or bad, has 0 quit in him.

I don't know, aging superstar takes a backseat role to Win has happened repeatedly in Sports. Just takes a player who is able to check their ego ... Tiny Archibald, Bill Walton, Bob McAdoo, David Robinson.

LeBron would look good on a lot of teams, even at his price-tag, if he'd be willing to change being a ball-dominant, no-defense playing player.

Who has $40m in salaries sitting around for a trade they are willing to hand over besides the Rockets?

Seriously, no one is going to want to give up good assets for a guy in the final year of his contract making that much. They will want to do a salary dump.

I don’t think he can still give good effort on both sides of the ball and stay healthy for an entire season.

Charlotte has supposedly shown some interest in a Westbrook for Hayward swap...

So of course Laker fans already think they'll get Rozier, PJ and a 1st along with Hayward out of Charlotte to make that deal

Charlotte taking Westbrick to eat salary for one season rather than multiple seasons is realistic.

The Lakers thinking they are getting anything positive out of him is par for the course. “frick Westbrook!” “Charlotte wants him!” “Your next 10 draft picks plus LaMelo!”

I don’t believe he can either @ 30+ minutes. 24 minutes may be doable.

LeBron and his team is most effective with the ball in his hands. Him aging doesn’t stop him from being the best passer in the NBA. That’s exactly why the Westbrick trade was moronic from the start because he too needs the ball in his hands to not be a negative player. They could have had Buddy and more shooting/defense. Instead why gambled it all on westbrick
