Splitting the two with the Spurs might be advantageous.

Spurs actually have 3 games left with Portland and one with Houston. They could win all 4 of those if they really want to, just not sure they really want to do so. We might be in a position where our 2nd game with Spurs will be one where we can give some key players some "rest" without it hurting our place in the standings, if we happen to lose. (If you get where I'm coming from)

MIN gonna get stuck in the play in tournament, 5 games better than the clips at 8 and 12 games better than 9. Kinda shitty

Not really- it's great for the league cause now they are playing playoff level basketball when on previous years they may have started resting players since they has such a big lead.

If they are they much better, playing one game should be an issue for them.

You need to take a second look then. This draft is loaded.

I just think we underestimate just how good the league is. When I think of a Franchise-altering player, I think Magic, Bird, Jordan, Duncan or LeBron. They're players that enter the league, immediately dominate and change the course of a franchise in terms of winning.. Heck, even Kobe, Curry, Embid, Jocik (2nd. rounder), and Leonard all took 2-3 years to really get cooking.

I just think there are a lot of good players and a couple of exceptional players. Most will show flashes, some will develop into good players, and a few will be great in time. No shame in that, but I just don't see any Magic, Bird, Jordan, Duncan, or LeBron's.

My point with the Pels is that no Magic or Bird is walking through the draft door and we shouldn't be hoping to suck to get one. I would welcome a good draft pick to add to the team, the Pels are building a really good team but have been snake-bit with injuries. We were gifted with two great players and made a trade for a third. They should be in the business of winning now.

Part of me wants to feel bad for him. I appreciate that no matter how bad it’s going he plays hard still the same.

But the personal/media side of the story makes me feel like he deserves it. If he just came out and took some accountability and showed some humility people would be on his side.

He’s not playing hard. Screw westbrick. He’s a dick and always has been with his arrogance and stupid fashion.

He’s garbage and just loafing while blaming everything but himself

Y’all are nuts man.

This team has lost 5 of their last 6 I think. We don’t need to intentionally lose any games we do that naturally.

We just need to win.

that “one game” is an elimination game though. Against a team/teams they have already lapped

BI needs to come back and lets just pull in front of the Lakers for good. I am tired of losing to shitty arse teams like the Magic.

Hard to feel bad. He refuses to change his game. He might play “hard” but he plays hard while being stubborn and repeatedly running into a brick wall.

So the 1 seed shouldn't play the 8 seed since they are like 20 games up on them and have already lapped them.

I think you are missing the point of the Play-in. It's to stop so many teams from tanking and increase the level of competition for the last few months of the season and its accomplishing that.

1/8 is not a one game elimination it’s a series.
MN is so far ahead of 8/9/10 they should get a 20 point spot in their play in game

I think it would be interesting if the 7/8 seed that has to play the 9/10 seed in the elimination game gets spotted points based on how many games they are ahead of the other team.

100% he misses the Lakers game but is back for ours

Agreed

For instance, his career-long lack of effort on D.

Especially now, when you are older, playing inefficiently, turning the ball over a ton. To then turn around and give almost no effort defensively is just unforgivable.

He's supposedly a good guy in real life, but he is one of the most unlikable players on the court this generation for me.

Totally understand. I just think we'll have NO trouble passing these Lakers and Spurs in the next few games once BI and CJ return. We're about to become quite a bit better. The Lakers MIGHT even get worse from here...if that's possible. I WANT THAT #9 PICK !! The Knicks & Spurs could get it for us.

PS: But...I'll settle for the 10th pick (g)

If you told me AD would miss the rest of the season I'd feel pretty comfortable. But if he comes back they probably go from a .250ish team to a .500ish team. Things are trending in our favor but those trends could flip quickly.

BI needs to get back soon and we need at least one of the Knicks/Wizards to keep it together.

Exactly. AD is going to be back unless the Lakers CHOOSE to just say frick it, which I doubt.

We have to start winning some fricking games, we need the Spurs to win but not enough to pass us, and we need the Wizards and Knicks to win.

But there's only one thing that really matters: us winning.
