If we win and Lakers win and Wiz lose and Knicks lose we are fricked

Exactly. AD is going to be back unless the Lakers CHOOSE to just say frick it, which I doubt.

JMO...The Lakers are already saying "frick it". LeBron will continue to score but will also continue to play the lousy D he has been playing for quite a while now. If LeBron wanted to win, even THESE Lakers would be playing quite a bit differently than they are. LJ would not ALLOW the Lakers to play like they have been playing if he had a problem with it. Why in the world would LeBron want to limp into the play-in, MAYBE somehow win 2 play-in games...just to get totally humiliated by the Suns?

I think you're over thinking it.

You see a Lebron that has "given up" because he'd be too embarrassed to limp in to a play in.

I see a Lebron who knows he can't carry a team of scrubs by himself anymore but he might as well get closer to Kareem while he's healthy enough to play. If that Lebron gets AD back the equation changes and he'll try harder. Hell, AD was talking shite about the Suns a few days ago. It was the kind of trash talk you say when you hope to meet them in the playoffs.

Also fun fact about the play-in people forget, the stats in those games don’t count at all. So if LeBron is really only stat chasing, he would have to play and win two games before anything counts towards his career playoff numbers

I would, but he hasn't tried to change, so this is 100% on him.

Play some defense, move without the ball, set some screens.

Part of me does too, but Derrick rose is the clear example of rock bottom and rebuilding himself.

Guilty as charged. OT is a constant problem for a person of my psycological make-up. Several "pros" have convinced me of that, long ago.

But, back to LJ. That guy is what I call a "stone cold winner". Not many of them out there. If you watch him on the court lately, his level of play goes against every fiber of his being. Under normal circumstances, he would not allow a player on the court with him, who has been playing with the total lack of effort that LJ has been showing lately. Only one way to explain it, he has totally shut down...and I'd bet a decent sum of money that LJ already knows, Mr Street Clothes won't be back this year. JMO...I could be wrong.

I think the stat chasing, that LJ is doing at this point, only relates to the season scoring title. Plenty of time for the other stuff later. Would guess he might sit out a game or 2, for whatever reason he wants to come up with, once he reaches the magic number of 58 games played. Then, if need be, come back and post a coupla 50 point performances toward the end of the year. Scoring title chases can sometimes bring on some really weird "performances" in the last coupla games.

Video clip of AD getting some shots up at shoot around. LINK

I think Nance started doing that this week, so could Anthony Davis be a few weeks away? Looking at their schedule 2 weeks out, a homestand starting on April 1st against the Pels would seem like a good spot. That would be 6 games left. That doesn't seem like much, but I could see them going 3-3 in that stretch rather than 1-5 without AD.
