Are you only looking at 3 pointers? From 2 point range, he’s around Embiid, Butler, BI, Shai, Hailburton, Tobias, Siakam, Cj, etc. With the ball, his assist/turnover ratio is like 3.5 with a high usage. By all accounts other than 31% on his 4 three pointers a game, at very least, he’s a average efficiency player. I’d say he’s above average for a high usage guard on a shitty team

Scoring efficiency is best measured by true shooting not fg%.
His career ts .513, league average is around .57. He doesn’t get to the line or shoot 3s, that makes for an ineffeicnt overall player unless you are shooting the midrange at 50% +

He’s making 51% of the shots of which he takes 78% of. All while handling the ball resulting in a high amount of assists and low amount of turnovers. He’s not the reason the Spurs offense is inefficient. Can’t be a slave to advanced stats, just watch him play basketball

he makes 2 points shots. 51% on a two point shot is worth 102 points per 100 possessions. A team
Offense that scores at that pace would be dead last in the league. Unless you are making 3s or getting to The line you won’t have a good offense unless you are a big who lives at the rim. a 51% fg shooter is the same as hack a Shaq getting fouled and going 1-2 from the line. Same about of points per possession.

Washington and Knicks do have easier schedules.
I see no way we don't finish 9th and Lakers will have to try really hard to finish worse than 10th. Only tricky thing left is...LeBron has obviously decided to win the scoring title this year. He would be oldest EVER to win it, beating out Jordan who won it at 35 years old. So...THAT is gonna happen and if LeBron has to score 70 on the final day to make it happen, he'll score 70.
We just need to have LeBron have a few more 50 point games fairly soon, IN A LOSING CAUSE...to build up a bit of a cushion over Embiid and The Freek. Then, LJ can sit out, for whatever reason he comes up with, once he gets in his 58 games to qualify. And, if needed, he can turn it back on last coupla games and score 50 in each of them.
Bottom line, I think the Knicks will beat out the Lakers but Lakers might still finish 10th for play-in...then either our Pels will need to beat the Lakers or, if not, then the Clippers will probably be the team that has to beat the Lakers in the last play-in game...for us to get that pick. I'd say it's better than even money right now, that we end up with the pick.

I'd really like to see the Pels make a run at the 8th. spot. It was probable a few games back but BI and CJ being out really hurt their chances in the last homestand, losing some very winnable games against Charlotte and Orlando. The Clips have a tough schedule and its iffy if we can get BI and CJ back in the grove they were in (BI usually has a couple of off games coming back from injury).
I think 6 Wins secures the play-ins (10), 8 wins get the Pels the 9th. slot (home game), and 11 wins with a win against the Clips can get the team the 8th. slot.

Come on…We’ve won 28 all season… we aren’t adding another 11 in the last 16

LOL ... Actually the Pels only have 13 left, so there is that. Then there is the Suns for precedent, who started their run going into the bubble running off 9 straight. I Pelieve in the team.

The lakers have straight up quit

Always great to see LeBron start the game shooting 2-10 from the field.

They just went on a 11-3 run and is still down 17

Lakers are stuck. RW, AD and LeBron eat up 120M in cap with only AD interested in playing D and AD is only available part time. It’s going to be an interesting summer in La-La

If I'm the other 29 teams - I legit let Lakers and lebron drown this offseason.
Posted on 3/16/22 at 8:44 pm to htran90
I hope to god no team helps them this offseason without absolutely raping them.

Friday’s Pels/Spurs contest becomes very important. If Spurs beat us they take jump us in the seeding
Posted on 3/16/22 at 8:48 pm to htran90
They also have no picks, they’re already talking about stretching RW to get some room. Really the only asset they have is AD.
