Another clutch job by Lebron to pull out that garbage time 30 so everybody will blame it on Westbrook

He's got a ring with an * and now he wants a scoring record with an * to match.

I mean westbrook is atrocious. I saw a clip earlier where lebron wasn't trying but westbrook bricked like 3 possessions in a row.

Noticed he still got his 30 points. Pretty sure he decided he wanted to win the scoring title this year so he'll just play heavy minutes & shoot until he gets there. Many people think the NBA is pretty much a joke. Often times, it's hard to argue against that point of view.

I just looked at the remaining opponents, and assuming the Pels handle their business against the Lakers, the Lakers might win 2-3 games tops the rest of the way. The Knicks and Wizards both should be able to manage 4-5 more wins.

Although there was a lot of rumbling out today about AD possibly returning at some point.

Yup I think at the very most they’ll win 5 of their 14 games left. There’s really only 2 easy ones in @Washington (lakers are even more terrible away tho) and OKC.

Washington and Knicks do have easier schedules. Worry tho about Washington benching some guys like Porzingis. I’d be shocked if Thibs allowed a tank. They’ll play their starters like normal.

The Spurs have obviously quit. I'm kinda embarrassed for Pop, the way he has his team playing. Not sure the Lakers or Knicks or Wizards want any part of a play-in...but I think the Lakers have actually trapped themselves into a position where they can't avoid finishing 10th in the West no matter how hard they DON'T try. Spurs will make sure of that, with their total shutdown.

Usually, either the Knicks or Wizards would be almost forced to finish ahead of the Lakers and get us the pick but they don't really have an urge to do that.

We are one game behind LA with one game left against them. Today for the first time in a long time we officially control our own destiny for a home court playin game

Spurs have bottom of the barrel talent. They may be in the worse shape of any franchise. Just don’t have much talent, aren’t bad enough to get a top pick, and bottom 3-5 on the list of attractive free agent destinations.

I have a feeling Murray will get traded this offseason. I think he would be a perfect fit alongside CJ

Just don’t see why the Spurs would trade their best young player

I think if we had continued to win instead of going on a losing streak, there would have been a good chance of the Lakers shutting down.

But there being a pillow fight now for the 9th and 10th, I think they still try and make it.

I read yesterday that he has shot 9% from three since the break. 9%!

He's not a guy you build around, he's a 3rd-5th option on a championship type team, but he's also too good for them to outright tank with him on their team and end up with a guaranteed top 4 pick.

He’s well below average scoring efficiency, always has been. The spurs are one of the worse offenses in the league with him running the show. Just an all around Inefficient offensive player.
