Fair point about the pick. Getting the pick is obviously priority #1. Outside of that, I'd be stoked for a play-in matchup against the Lakers. We don't have a ton on the line this season, so I'm going for optimal fun.

more importantly, the Knicks had a great comeback win last night with Randle scoring 46, and Porzingis seems to be helping the Wizards.
Wizards play the Lakers on Friday. Definitely need to win that one.
we play them 2 more times.
Lakers have a lot of road games to close the season out, but to be honest, that's probably a good thing for them b/c they'd probably rather not have to play in front of their own fans right now.

Well, they are 9-20 on the road this year, which is 7th-worst in the league. I'm fine with that ratio.

I like the idea of an old Lakers team having to fly all over the country. That is not a bad thing for us IMO.

I don't know. I could totally see the Lakers shutting down Lebron. I know he wants that scoring title but if his knee is bothering him...
I would say it’s actually LeBron shutting down LeBron, not the Lakers, and I think it’s actually a much better possibility than people realize. LeBron has been using really squishy language in his postgame answers about his knee. He keeps leaving the door open to him shutting it down before the end of the year. I first noticed it a few weeks ago and almost posted about it then. He keeps doing it whenever he could easily just say it’s bothering him a little bit but he’ll be fine and he’s playing no matter what. I really think he doesn’t want to put his body through the playoffs if he believes they have no shot at winning the West, because it’s obvious that he’s giving himself an out if things continue to go south.

Actually hoping LeBron's 56 point primetime performance was his way of saying "I'm done.. told you I wasn't the problem"

He does seem super checked out at the moment

He doesnt want to put that wear and tear on his body when he knows that team isnt going anywhere.

Lets hope thats how he sees it as well.
If Lebron shuts it down, and AD takes longer to recover, we can wrap it up for the Lakers in the playoffs.

Only reason he isn’t is because he wants his points record. That’s it.

Lets be honest here, Lebron is about Lebron and not the Lakers organization. He is gonna try to be good enough and still relevant when Bronny gets to the league in a few years. At this point I personally think thats all he cares about.

FWIW: Thinking ahead, IF...the Lakers & Spurs end up in a tie for final play-in spot...Spurs should win the tie-breaker

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James (knee soreness) will return tonight against the Houston Rockets, league sources tell @YahooSports.
LeBron back to pad his stats.

lakers getting raw dogged in OT

Took the rockets with the points tonight because the line looked screwy. Could have taken them straight up. Lakers are trash.

At least we got the Lakers sucking going for us
Posted on 3/9/22 at 9:40 pm to jprdbulldog20
I really can't tell if the Lakers are trying or not...but the Rockets are hitting some crazy shots in OT
