Guys like Temple is good for the bench as they won’t require you to play them every night and will be ready whenever you put them in the game. These type of vets allow you to develop and play your youth but can still provide quality minutes if needed.

The time I am aware of was the Boogie trade, where he came in and broke his hand within about a week and got released.

Garrett Temple and Ersan Ilyasova would be such good pickups this offseason. Those guys with Baynes and that's an A+ offseason.
