I mean, the very foundation of "Rock n Roll" was innuendo/term for fricking, not dancing. In 1922, Trixie Smith sang "My Man Rocks Me (with One Steady Roll)" about her man coming home and them doing it until 1am when she finally looked at the clock.

So basically, anytime you hear "Rock" as a lyric in a song, just replace it with "frick".

Even as a 2nd grader, I knew what Mark Lyndsay meant with:

Anyone with an interest in this topic should check the infamous Lucille Bogan's Shave 'Em Dry. First sung by Ma Rainey without explicit lyrics in the 1920s then dirtied up in Bogan's later version. The title refers to fricking with no prep i.e. foreplay.

LOL! Got me thinking about my old music classes in college and the music of the 1920's. It goes WAY back.

In older songs, the term "jelly roll" had a double meaning, often referring to sexual intercourse. Origins were in African American communities in the early 20th century and was later adopted by other groups.
