Benjy is probably making more money writing than he did singing.
How much money is in writing these days?

There's a fine line between being a regular musician and being an addict with a problem. Benjy has been on both sides of that line throughout his career.

Just saying bruh. He was playing at the same bar every Wednesday and he would get lit AF. Like falling asleep on stage type of lit

There’s two types of people in this world. The ones that like to enjoy a cold beer and listen to some Benjy and then there’s people that suck dick for money

Enough that Kevin Griffin (BTE) can get divorced and still live in a million dollar pad.

I saw them in concert once. They sucked balls.
We should have a music board to talk about stuff like this.

Probably because they were cheesy and basically just copied parts of different songs from bands like Third Eye Blind, Matchbox 20, etc. They didn't really bring any fresh ear candy to the table.
I think they could have made it with a little luck. They certainly played enough to at least have A&R guys take a listen. Execs have taken chances on lesser bands for sure. Some of these kinds of bands do make it but most dont.

More Than Local was definitely cheesy through and through, but I thought The Angie House and Dust has some depth to them.
