Was watching some videos of Brit Floyd this week and saw the concert at Red Rocks they did a few years back.

Is that place as awesome as it looks to see a concert in?

Would love to go there

Been there. Saw Don Henley. Best venue I have ever been to.

Saw 3 night Panic runs there in 98, 99, 00, 01, and 02. Well, 98 was a two night run but you get the point.

The stairs. Start exercising now. They are a bitch to climb up.

And yes, it’s incredibly awesome. The sound is interesting as there is a lot of phasing due to the wind, but you get used to it.

One of my favorites, along with the Greek, Shoreline, and the Gorge.

Three nights of widespread panic summer 2016 was my first red rocks show(s). It absolutely blew my mind seeing a show there.

Saw Blues Traveler and Uncle Kracker there in 2016. The venue made those guys sound talented. Awesome, awesome experience.

Saw Portugal The Man there last June. Awesome place.

And yeah. Like the other guy said, the climb was pretty brutal.

Pretty cool venue, but the only venue that has blown me away is the gorge.

Been to both. Gorge is awesome but IMO, it is just too big. Red Rocks is the shite. Seen WSP back around 2000 a couple of runs and Gov't Mule this past August.

Saw Jack Johnson at the Gorge this past summer.

Sound can be average on a windy day up high in the venue but otherwise, can't beat it.

I’ve seen too many to count there although not in a long time. It was my local venue in the 90s . The thing that I always liked was getting there early and spreading a blanket out with a big group of friends early and just hanging out before the show. The acoustics are great , the weather usually stellar, the views amazing . Two concerts that stand out were Lyle Lovett and His large band and Big Head Todd and The Monsters but I saw so many “ bigger” bands there.

Saw Greensky + Galactic + Railroad Earth there a few years ago.

We got blackout drunk and walked to the front row like we owned the place and watched the whole concert from there. Ended up getting too fricked up and left halfway through Railroad Earth and fell asleep in the parking lot.

I saw Phish there in 1995, the year before the infamous "riots" that got them booted from the venue for decades. It was a great time. Mind=blown.

Seen quite a few different shows since then because we lived in Colorado for a couple of years.

I've been for several events over the years and it's the best venue on the planet. Pollstar magazine got tired of naming it best venue every year that they just call it the Red Rocks Award now.
