Steve Perry
Geoff Tate (Queensryche)

I can not believe Marvin Gaye has not been mentioned. Widely considered one of the greatest soul vocalist, if not vocalist, of our time along with Stevie Wonder.

Steve Perry, Karen Carpenter and oddly enough, (not a fan) Axl Rose.

Honorable mention Sabastian Bach.

Okay, so most of my top picks have already been mentioned, so I’ll throw out one that might make you laugh, but George Michael had an incredibly clear, pure-tone voice.

Another great voice is Maul Ralo of the Mavericks. Think Roy Orbison crossed with Elvis. Great sound.

Came to post this. You're getting the proper amount of up votes in comparison to other suggestions as well.

Dude was on another level.

inda Ronstadt could do it all.

Emmylou Harris has my favorite voice.

When those two got together with Dolly Parton in Trio, they were freaking amazing.
