Honorable mention to electric Miles Davis in the 60's and 70's. I don't think he was actually trying to be psychedelic but he certainly achieved it.

I guess it depends on your definition
It's not 60s psychelic. But it's definitely an evolution of that sound. It has a darker sound than the 60s sound and is more interesting to me. I don't know how you can't acknowledge either song as phsychelic.Howzabout Robyn Hitchcock....Madonna of the Wasp He is a direct descendent of Syd Barret. If he ain't phsychelic then my shoes are boots.
