Comfortably Numb is in the conversation for greatest rock song of all time.

However, for favorite, for me - I have a soft spot for Mother, Dogs and, really, all of Dark Side of the Moon. And some days, it is Comfortably Numb. It's rare for me to listen to a "single" from DSOM - I usually listen to it start to finish.

It's an amazing piece of music. But, Comfortably Numb is the pinnacle of the Gilmour/Waters collaborations - the song is almost perfect.

Very much it is and its is the best song to hear live. Even if someone else is playing it. Go see Brit Floyd and listen to their extended version as a closer. Excellent

This, and exactly why On the Turning Away is tops for me. His solo work on that song is brilliant.
