What’s your favorite Cypress Hill song? Do you feel they’re overrated or underrated?

I say Illusions off their Temple of Boom album is my favorite song.
I also feel they were vastly underrated and never understood why they weren’t more mainstream.

B Real's voice is a bit much in large doses.
Sen Dog had the easiest job in hiphop.

You Can't Get the Best of Me - off of the "rock" side of the double LP.

I think they are right where they need to be. They kind of bridged rap with rock so a lot of white stoners/wannabe gangstas were their thang. I know because I was one of them back in the 90's.

let's be honest here, Insane in the Brain is a certified banger

I can't disagree with that pick. They were fantastic at Voodoo Fest back in the day. I basically ignored Eminem so I could be on the rail for Cypress Hill.

Superstar!!!
Underrated big time. Love the heavy sound with the rotating MCs.
They came through at a time when you had to "fit" some style. It was impossible to do that with them, they were pro weed, the rapped hard, they rocked hard, the lyrics were smart and slick.

A to the motherfrickin' K homeboy, A to the motherfricking K
They're touring again and I really wish I'd seen them. In retrospect, they've got enough great songs to put on a hell of a show all these years later.

Cock the hammer
With a steel-toe, how you feel now
When my boot stuck in that arse like a dildo
Cry on a pillow, weeping-arse willow
The Hill got the skill for the static like brillo
