Going from slow to fast etc or just a real change in mood or feeling.

My examples are

Band on the Run
Stairway to Heavan
Dani California
Hazy Shade of Winter

What are the songs you would cite for this topic?

Love - "7 & 7 Is"

According to legend, this was played on a teen dance TV show. The kids were dancing to it like any other record when the change came. The baffled kids reacted as if someone had been shot

The bridge in God Only Knows to a chorus in another key into the verse at the end is pure genius

Come to think of it also in “wouldn’t it be nice”, the intro is the bridge. Comes back around and flows back into the main part very nicely. Maybe I’m on a Brian Wilson kick

Beatles - A Day In the Life

Most here probably already know this, but this song was constructed of two completely separate songs written by Lennon and McCartney respectively.
