Every band I ever saw.

But, in their earliest form with a crowd of about 200...Alice in Chains.

Most of the ones mentioned early in the thread. I vividly remember Alice In Chains hitting the stage with Dam That River at Lollapalooza in Orlando in ‘93.

There is one that has not been mentioned that I was lucky enough to see just a few months before he passed away.

Elvis- early ‘70’s. Bloated but vital.

Chuck Berry- ‘79. Could still duck walk.

Scott Weiland fronting STP when they toured as the opener for Aerosmith. He was electric.

Elvis and Johnny Cash. That’s all I got. All my fave musicians are still alive. Some barely, but alive.

Stevie Ray Vaughan

I never saw him live, but in the spring of 1990, when I was a freshman at St. Edward's University in Austin, he played a show at Auditorium Shores on Town Lake during the "In Step" tour.

Myself and a group of friends were sitting around our 3rd floor dorm room drinking one evening with the windows open and realized that the music we were catching bits and pieces of outside was SRV and Double Trouble in concert.

Couldn't hear everything clearly, but was loud enough to recognize some of his songs. We all thought it was some pretty good background music to get drunk to.

This was May of 1990, I believe and, sadly he was dead a few months later. I was a fan. Unfortunately, he died on the day of my mom's funeral and I was already in a rough place when I heard of his passing. Just added to my grief at the time.

Bummer the way he went out.

Really good friend of mine played drums for him on and off for over a decade. Told me that when Scott would come on the tour bus, he had like 12 different types of pills, he would reach into his pocket not knowing what it was and just take it. Wish he would’ve gotten help, but he never really did. Not to the extent he needed.
