Are we talking Springsteen pre 1995 or the entirety? Pre 95 is really good music But after Lucky Town / Human Touch he's not nearly as good. Although I do kind of like Magic

I love the fact that one of the reasons Todd Rundgren produced Bat Out Of Hell was to make fun of Springsteen.

That is funny. Rundgren called him "silly and pretentious ".

66 years old...dude Shitspring had one, maybe two decent songs in the 70's and they were shite songs compared to Allman Bros, Skynyrd, Outlaws, etc.

The first 2 albums had some gems.
The stretch from Born to Run through Tunnel of Love has some incredible music.
Big slide thereafter, except for slight bounce back on The Rising...not great, but had some decent tunes
Bruce is not a great singer or crooner of course, but if the standard for R-n-R requires only a classically beautiful singing voice then that negates Dylan, Joe Strummer, Neil Young and countless others who have made some great music.

Nebraska is fantastic.

I hate him so much. His music, his politics, his hypocrisy, and his style

When he stays true to his original sound he produces some good stuff. When he starts trying to do his Pete Seeger stuff and running with Tom Morello, he turns me off......and it's not because of politics. It's because he's at his best when he brings together the full ensemble of the E Street band. So when he has the piano with the keyboards and Danny Federico layering his bass along with Van Zandt and Clarence's kid on Sax.

I can give him a little credit for surrounding himself with much better musicians.
