Once had on this Vassar Clements fiddle shirt that he gave away free with a CD.

And one day while grocery shopping this guy come up to say how much he loved Vassar. Turned out he had played bass with Bob Marley among others and he wanted to waste a few minutes talking. Not real sure but I'm thinking he was Bob Babbitt.

AC/DC
Black Sabbath
Megadeth
Kix
Ozzy Osbourne
Rush x3
Godsmack
Motley Crue
Five Finger Death Punch
Goatwhore
Van Halen
Iron Maiden
Several more...

I still wear all of those except for the Ozzy shirt.

I buy a shirt at every concert I attend. Even the local bar shows.

over the years? Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Four Year Strong, Sum 41, Hawthorne Heights, Metallica, Hot Mulligan, Joyce Manor, Kublai Khan TX, and countless local bands as purchasing shirts is a great way to support them.

Currently? Attack Attack, The Devil Wears Prada, Iron Maiden, My Chemical Romance, The Used, A Day to Remember, Pierce the Veil, Suicidal Tendencies, Power Trip, Bullet for my Valentine, and Sleep Token

Most of the time, I only buy shirts at shows or shirts of bands I have seen live, but not always. For example, the Metallica and Aerosmith shirts were hand-me-downs, and Led Zeppelin broke up over 10 years before I was born.

Considering that I'm a musician, I'm pretty much always wearing band tees if I'm not at my real job, a live sports event, or needing to "dress up" for an occasion.

I don't buy a shirt unless I really enjoyed the music AND the design was exceptionally cool AND it financially made sense at the time. Eventually, I'll get more classic rock tees, but lately I just haven't seen as many cool designs available for a good price.

I have about 50 total.
I bought a Kid Rock concert shirt in March and only wore it once, to a Ted Nugent concert last month.
Otherwise this year's purchases were Dillinger Escape Plan at Milwaukee Metal Fest plus the MMF event shirt with all the bands listed on it.
And a Dio shirt through the mail.

I still have the Helmet t shirt, though its looking pretty rough.

Man I’m with you. My Meantime tour shirt is swiss cheese. I can’t toss it though. I keep it for nostalgic reasons.

The last time I wore it was to a Toadies show in 2012 because Helmet was opening. I was sure to wear a white t-shirt underneath.

If you zoom in you can see why I said swiss cheese with all the little holes in addition to the big ones.

I think I’m up to about 300. Most in garbage bags from panic and dead lots these days. 90% of my wardrobe is band merch. Life’s too short for lame tees.

I have owned more band shirts than I'll ever remember, but I've oddly never owned a Rush shirt. I saw them live 4 times and never bought any merch.

D n' C played a friend of mine's bday party last year, so I got a free shirt. I wear it all the time even though I have not listen to them in 20+ years.
