I guess it doesn’t really matter but I like these bands from the 90s. I kinda lump them in together

Matchbox Twenty
Goo Goo Dolls
Wallflowers
Third Eye Blind

Etc.

Listen to them often, I enjoy them because it always brings back to being a kid and simpler times.

Hated them at the time, still hate them now. One of the few genres of music that has not grown on me, at all, as I've gotten older.

I listen to some of them every now and then for nostalgia. Except Matchbox Twenty. Never cared for them. But I like Gin Blossoms, some Goo Goo Dolls, Wallflowers, Toad the Wet Sprocket, and a couple of others.

Don't like them. What is worse is that every acoustic solo/duo act at every bar plays this crap endlessly.

Chicks dig it

Dudes pretend to in order to get in chicks' pants

Dudes secretly hate it, except for alphabet bros

Not something I’d go out of my way to listen to, but also not something I’d rush to change if it came on my radio.

I thought of a lot of that 90's softer rock as quite whiny, but do like some stuff by all those bands.

Personally, I always thought the Wallflowers were a bit better listening than the rest of your list. Saw them open for Eric Clapton once and really enjoyed their set.

Guilty pleasures. I’m a classic rock guy but am a sucker for well crafted pop rock.

Matchbox Twenty, Third Eye Blind and the Goo Goo Dolls were awful.

The Wallflowers we're/are still pretty good.

I hated Matchbox 20 when they were popular because they were played nonstop on the radio.

I like all these bands today...too bad they didn't have continued success outside of 1-2 albums (maybe the Goo Goo Dolls went beyond that?).

Dislike all of the bands you listed except for the self titled third eye blind album that is full of nothing but bangers.

Went to this trading post while in Colorado . Bought cd's I remember seeing in the 90's. Fuel and The Lemonheads are giving me those vibes. Boring now. Feel I wasted $3. ??

Matchbox's first album has some great album cuts that weren't singles (Kody, Hang)
