How does this work? Do they actually look at the card? Do you have to show ID?

All i had to do was take a picture of mine and show it to the door dude.

Didn't even check my ID to see if the name matched.

Not in Lafayette. Only in NOLA. Boycott NOLA until LaToya is gone.

Only one I went to you could show them a pic on your phone of the vaccine card, and they checked your ID to make sure the name and DOB matched. Took like 5 seconds.

Where did you go?

I’ve literally never heard of this happening anywhere ever

Jason Isbell's music festival in Muscle Shoals, AL last weekend. Supposedly one of the local venues here in Birmingham(Saturn) is checking ID's and vaccine cards as well, but I haven't been to a show there yet. Going to one 10/30.

Had to show negative test to get into Blackberry Smoke at NOLA HOB Saturday night. One of the few bands I'd go through the trouble to that for in that shitty city. 10,000 people at a KISS concert in Biloxi Tuesday and no mention of Covid meanwhile NOLA is on terrified lockdown.

Yes and yes for the two shows I’ve been to in the last month. Wasn’t any different than getting carded to get in a bar.

HOB was pretty strict with it Friday night. Guy at the door compared my drivers license to the vax card. It really all depends on the venue and the person working the door.

It really depends on the artist's requirements, the venue's requirements, and/or local or state requirements.

Was in NOLA over the weekend, and saw Toubab Krewe at DBA and Johnny Sketch at Maple Leaf. I left my vax card in Alabama and I don't have a picture of it, so we just doctored my buddy's card and took a picture of it, and it worked every time, they didn't really inspect it at all. It even had his birthday on there, we didn't doctor that part.

Yea, my plan is just to find the ticket taker who looks like he/she gives the least fricks.

Ultimately, probably fine but would really suck for you if you put up good money for tix or travelled and couldn’t get in.

They’re doing this in Austin too I found out. I plan on seeing a show in December at the Paramount, and they require proof of vaccination.
