I did for some events. I faced three big issues:
1. Scheduling the tests was often difficult (it’s been better recently). You couldn’t get the tests when you needed one, especially the rapid ones. After the storm, there were several weeks where there straight up were no tests anywhere.
2. The test results rarely came back in time. The test is only good for 72 hours from the testing date, but of the 5 non-rapid tests I received, only one was returned to me within 72 hours.
3. The rapid tests are harder to get, harder to schedule, quite expensive, and no longer covered by my insurance. I spent a good amount for my rapid test prior to a weekend which included a Saints and LSU game. The tickets to both events combined were less than the out of pocket cost of the test.
Testing is really not a serious alternative.
Finally, if you’re thinking “if you don’t like it, why don’t you just move?” I am. I will be getting the f$&k out of this city in another month, and I don’t know if I could be paid enough to return. F$&k Latoya for ruining one of my favorite places in the whole world.

damn dude, like I said.. that sucks to hear, I would look into seeing about getting an exemption maybe through your GP, calling them def wouldn't hurt.. I've had exemptions written out for some of my ailments in the past..

Went to a concert in Dallas last weekend that required test/vaccine, I used a fake test, they just checked the date on it.. Found a “copy” of a test online, used the markup feature on my phone to change dates and name.

I would imagine it would depend on the concert and how big it was.

Went to an outdoor concert last week. They said they would be checking Vaccination Cards at the gate (they didn't). Have another outdoor concert this Sunday where they say they will be checking vaccine cards at the gate (different venue). We'll see what they do at the 2nd site.
Said I would follow up...concert was Halloween night outside (in a Park setting). Huge crowd with beer tents and food trucks on the perimeter. They did not check for Vaccine cards. Just routine security checks as you entered the venue.
