Keep it simple. Keep it traditional.
It’s Christmas at King’s.

I want the old shite...Dean Martin, Sinatra, Nat King Cole, The Carpenters, etc.

SiriusXM has about 20 Holiday channels and none of them are dedicated to the classics. It's a joke. They can shove that Mariah Carey shite straight up their arse.

Merry Christmas, btw.

Agreed. Best album in the “new” category would be Michael Buble’s Christmas album.

Isn’t it channel 71 or 72?
I think Traditional Christmas is the name…

The closest I can find on there is a 70s/80s channel. I usually just go with one of the Jazz or instrumental stations or a youtube playlist.

I’ve started threads here before as I like to add a few albums each year. Something I enjoy about actual vinyls at Christmas, whether decorating or hosting family.

This year added the new Louis Armstrong cool Yule collection (excellent - highly recommended) a nat king Cole collection (excellent) and a temptations one (will be spinning it for the first time tonight)

I tried listening to the Chris Stapleton “Christmas” album but he kept saying “happy holidays” and refused to say Christmas

You can’t beat Vince guaraldi. That in the back ground is just a perfect setting

Time-Life Treasury of Christmas two-disc set

My family had this set when I was a kid. It's got pretty much everything you want.

I wear this album out every Christmas. Been having that two-disc set since elementary school.

I like the old Firestone records. Mitch Miller, Percy Faith, Perry Como, Mahalia Jackson, Ray Coniff, etc.

Yeah it’s Peanuts Christmas.

Another that I really enjoy is JD McPhersons “Socks”. It’s all originals and a really good Christmas album if you’re looking for something different.
