If you're going to throw a hook out there at least use bait that hasn't been done a thousand times already.

1) There are several, but any that I post you will just say "nah that one sucked"

2) What does the question you just asked have to do with them being the most overrated band of all time, IYO? It doesn't. You're just picking different targets to shoot at now.

Rubber soul is essentially is the middle of their discography. Not really a fan of their early stuff but post rubber soul is epic. Rubber Soul > Revolver > Sgt. Peppers > Magical Mystery Tour > White Album > Yellow Submarine > Abbey Road > Let It Be. They dropped those 1966-1970. Can't think of any band, past or present, that has done something like that. To me, what makes that impressive is the fact that their first album dropped in 1962 with Rubber Soul in 1965 so in a matter of a decade they started as a pop rock band, found themselves somewhere dosed in 65 and ended their careers with 8 amazing albums before they ended the Beatles.

I'm not arguing that. That was my point. I'm not really of fan of abbey road and let it be but they are objectively good albums.

Their music before rubber soul was teenie bopper garbage.

They are an incredible, groundbreaking band. But alas, they are indeed overrated.

Ok, so now go back and see what was being played on the radio at the same time all of these songs that you do not like and see what they sounded like compared to the Beatles.

As my colleague who teaches physics has asserted, "Aristotle wasn't that great; he essentially was wrong on just about everything."
