he could keep time when he was younger ..he is pretty bad now . plays very conservatively to hang in there but he drags them down..plenty of drummers out there that could smoke Lars and make Metallica Great Again MMGA

It gets that rep but it's really not. They just used some down tuning for that one. I'd say pretty much every single track on AJFA is heavier.
They were just trying to avoid 8 and 9 minute epic runtimes when they were doing TBA because they noticed everyone was getting bored after about 5 minutes of a song on the AJFA tour
