I’m not gonna lie I think it’s pretty arse.

Basically making all the awesome Dylan songs sound worse. Starts off with a shockingly dull tangled up in blue and there are few high points IMO.

I agree. His Nebraska was equally underwhelming and makes you wonder why he chose two of the original artist's best albums that most certainly did not need to be remade.

My thoughts exactly on both of those albums

Terrible. FWIW, that album is in my top 3 all time, and I am not even a huge Dylan fan.

He has a lot of nerve covering one of the most iconic records ever made.

And it sounds horrible.

Ive always thought he is an immense talent, but his covers always seem to be very stripped down, slowed down versions of the originals... which either works or it doesn't...

I think that it's okay for a one off cover.... but who wants a whole album of that? he's been releasing a lot of these recently... guess it helps him with his recovery... more power to him... but if I want to hear BotT, it will be Dylan...

e.g. REM - Driver 8

Just sucks the purpose out of. the song

Say what you want about these covers but his Taylor Swift cover album was actually pretty badass.

I love his version of Oasis' Wonder Wall. Will give the Taylor Swift a shot tonight.

I like his cover of Iron Maiden's Wasted Years... but an albums worth is just repetitive and boring...

My favorite song on that is “grooming 16 year olds via text”

His attempts to become relevant again after getting me too’d have kind of been some head scratchers.

His cover of Alice In Chains Down In a Hole is great. That was back in the Ryan Adams and the Cardinals years.

Would love a tour of them together again. Saw them in 08 or 09 in BR. Great show. Seen him since, but those albums are my favorites.

As far as covers, his T-Swift album is pretty good. Have no desire to hear him cover Dylan.

One of his problems has always been that he has zero filter. He'll put out some absolute gems and then follow it up with some garbage. He's always done this.

I think now he's at the point where his friends are few and far between and he just spends most of his waking hours making music, so he's getting bored and to the point of releasing full cover albums. I thought there were a few high points on Nebraska, but not enough to put the whole thing out. Haven't heard Blood on the Tracks yet, but not really looking forward to it.

1989 was pretty damn good, but it seemed like a one off at the time. I think Style off that album might be his best cover though.
