back in the Ryan Adams and the Cardinals years. Would love a tour of them together again. Saw them in 08 or 09 in BR. Great show. Seen him since, but those albums are my favorites.
RIP Neal Casal

I don’t understand what in the hell he is trying to accomplish at this point

Remaking T-Swift is one thing due to the dramatic genre shift. It's not genius but it was interesting.
Nebraska and BOTT covers by someone not that crazily dissimilar to the originals seems like a waste of time unless there is some great extra feature Adams offers (elite vocalist, elite acoustic guitarist, etc.). He's a decent all around and a good songwriter, so I just don't get it.
Essentially doing a disconnected, dispassionate folksy cover of Bob Dylan?

Survive?
I think between the accusations, and loneliness, and sobriety and his normal crazy… he’s probably not doing great in his own head so he released 4 albums last year.

Only 3 salvageable tunes on the covers are
Meet Me In The Morning
Buckets of Rain
You’re Gonna Make Me Lonesome
Everything else is filler

He is his own studio/label and is basically putting out anything he records in his house. Probably to keep the lights on and stay busy. He still has super fans worldwide that eat this stuff up.
I hoped to catch him on his last US tour (solo) and from what I could tell he sold out every venue (which were mostly theaters). The ticket prices for the Asheville show were going for over $100 in the balcony on the resale market. These were 3 hour performances.
He has hinted that his next tour will be with a band and it will be the Cardinals (or at least called that).

FM is a pretty good album.
Yes it is. Of the recent of his studio original albums, FM ranks behind his self titled album which I thought was fantastic.
Fantasy File, Hall Of Shame, Wild and Hopeless, and Someday are really good songs
