A few years back, I was listening to Adam Ant on an XM channel doing one of those artist interview/concert hours. He claims to have never taken or smoked recreational drugs of any kind, and has drank very little alcohol in his life. That surprised me.

Prince would have EASILY been a mention also, if he hadn't had his hip replaced, then become hooked on pain killers to continue performing. Even with that being the case, by definition he didn't live drug free.

Wasn't Randy Rhoads completely alcohol and drug free? I'm pretty sure he was.

I've ready both Slashs and Duffs autobiographies and they both sobered up 20+ years ago and have remained sober since. That's pretty impressive as they both had terrible addictions at one point.

That's what makes what they did to Adler so egregious.

Alice Cooper in a 2019 article.

Wow. I'm not a huge Ant fan, but liked a lot of his songs in my youth. I wasn't aware he had any underage sex accusations.

Same with Elton John (add cocaine too). I think he's been sober for 20+ years.

You know what, I was wrong. I think I was confusing him with Gary Glitter. I will delete my faulty comment.

I saw an interview with him years ago and he said he was addicted to groupies and sex instead. Can't say I blame him.

I think most would assume Frank Zappa would be stoned out of his mind or on acid most of the time. The dude did not even partake in ganja.
but did he eat that yellow snow?
