Actually, he's a really cool, quiet, family guy who just happens to be a rock star on the side. I've had lunch with him at his place in Seattle several times, and I simply do work on his house, which is quite humble. He pals around with his neighbors. Dude's studio is about 150 sq feet!

David Allen Coe. I was running sound with my buddy in Lafayette for one of his shows and he was the most disrespectful a-hole I've ever had to deal with. He just walked off stage drunk about 1/2 through his show and told the crowd to go frick themselves.

Tom Scholz has an impressive resume, but it also reads like a shut in who perfected the art of recording in his basement. Boston was never cool.
Rush, of course, is the classic answer to the least cool band ever, though they all seem like really nice guys. If we mean "uncool" to mean "a-hole", then Johnny Lydon is at the front of the line with Shane MacGowan from the Pogues.
