I'm going with Anders Osborne. He's done well, no doubt, but he's still more of a local or regional name. People all over should know his stuff. Great, great guitarist and musician.

Who you got?

Anders is pretty damn awesome, but Luke Starkiller is the GOAT. At least Anders is now a regional touring act that occasionally appears at festivals. These guys never really made it out of their garage:

Idk if they don't get enough respeCT (and they're a LA/Alabama hybrid). But the Mulligan Brothers are relatively unknown and really good.

I used to see Doug Duffy in Monroe,La. at the Saddle and Spur nightclub in '70,71','72. I got to B.R. in '73 and '74. Duffy was a great rocking cover singer then. I thought he died 3 or 4 years ago. How did you know/see him?-GeauxBrown

Well to be fair, he does get an invite from Eric Clapton to play the Crossroads festival every time the have it so he does get respect.

He gets my vote. One of the best slide guitarists ever. I was told that until fairly recently, he wasn't even able to support himself with his music and had to have a second job to make a living. That's pretty under-appreciated in my book.
