Adele and Lady Gaga are extremely talented and have a shite ton of fans. But they aren’t country. Country is a genre of music like any other music is a sound as well as a culture.
Like I said earlier all genres have changes and evolution, but this and others seems a bit much

I actually like some of his music.
Just because you might have a country themed song or even a whole album doesn’t make you a “country artist” in my book.

Dude has a great voice and a lot of talent. From his socials, seems like a good dude.
I think we're way past arguing if he's true country or not, I think that ship has done sailed and isn't coming back. That said, I'd take 25 of this dude over Luke Bryan.

I am listening to him right now while exercising. Nothing country about him, but I like his sound.

You’re arguing a point I didn’t make, brother. I only said I thought that one song I heard was alright. Whether the gatekeepers of country music deem him worthy or not? I couldn’t care any less.

He kinda sounds like Marc Broussard.

I’ll stick with my Kentucky boys of Chris Stapleton, Sturgill Simpson, and Tyler Childers.

Eh, bad rap and bad country are pretty much the same. Just nonsensical mumbling with heavy autotune.

Never forget that Kane Brown got lost on his own 40 acre property and called the sheriff to rescue him.
And Orville Peck is a better country artist than any of the new school clowns mentioned.

Son of a Sinner is a great song imo, and quite country.

Lol I remember a few years back when I heard cocaine country dancing. It was different for sure.
I like a lot of Cody Jinks’s music honestly. It may not be Johnny Cash or Willie but it’s pretty decent if I’m listening to country at work.

Lots of good country music out there, just not on traditional radio.
XM radio Outlaw Country
