he has so many great albums it's impossible to say which is best. They're all different.

Bringing It All Back Home, Highway 61 Revisited, Blonde on Blonde and Blood on the Tracks are all pretty much perfect.

I'm was gonna go with Blood on the Tracks, but after looking at that track listing again...yeah, Hwy 61 may be the correct answer.

No, it's Blood on the Tracks, which is probably a top 5 all time.

Blood On the Tracks and Nashville Skyline are my two favorites, but love Hwy 61 Revisited.

Bringing it all back home is my personal favorite. Desire is his most underrated.

Blood on the Tracks is good but I think is lyrically weaker than pre-motorcycle crash dylan. Freewheelin through Blonde on Blonde are all greatness with the exception of Another Side of Bob Dylan. Highway 61 is certainly great and it depends on my mood as to which among those early albums I would say is the best.

It's a great one, I also think the 2 albums that bookend it are just as impressive. I think one of the primary reasons Hwy 61 Revisited gets so much cred is it's the album with Like A Rolling Stone on it and that song's considered so iconic and so representative of that 1960s zeitgeist that it's almost singlehandedly elevated Hwy 61 to all-time legendary status and essentially overcame any weaknesses that album may consist of.

Bringing it All Back Home is my favorite but Hwy 61 is a close second.

Start with Like a Rolling Stone and finish with Desolation Row - pretty darn solid bookend tracks
