I want a Gibson Les Paul Tribute in Honeyburst. That line is an American made instrument with weight relief, no binding, and a satin finish. (I much prefer satin to gloss, especially on the neck). Same pickups as a full blown Les Paul. Absolutely gorgeous IMO. Retails for $1300.

Very nice. I’d like a J-185 but I don’t think it’s at the top of my list right now. I’ve been looking at getting a new ES 335 but inventory is low all around.

I have a 66 black 335 with the trapeze tailpiece I'll sell ya...block inlays....won't be cheap though...through a 50 watt Marshall it sounds like the whole 60's Brit blues invasion is boiling out of the amp.

I’ve got a ‘71 and it’s marvelous. Looking to put it on light duty though. Missed out on the Jim James walnut 335s that came out about a month ago. Didn’t realize that only 300 were made and they sold out in less than a day. Kicking myself.

What kind of Boogie do you have?

Nomad 55 2x12

I've bought 5 guitars in the past calendar year after nothing for the ten years prior so I need to stop or the wife will go ham on some purses

My goal next year is to put a custom Kiesel in the works and maybe do some moving around of some extras especially if something good pops up on Reverb.

A Meris Enzo, along with a midi controller and exp pedal. Need a second Exp pedal.

Also picked up a Moog clone.

I’ve been toying with buying a new acoustic guitar for a while. My church is looking for a more modern music service offerings. I’m trying to decide between a Gibson, Martin, or Taylor to buy and use for service.

you should add Guild into your consideration. I bought a D55 a few years back that is the best sounding acoustic I've ever heard.

I came across this website this morning, and now I'm wanting something new to build. They have just about any kit you could want to build.

Looks like a great present for me to buy for my wife to give to me for Xmas. I want a E335 and they have a kit for $310

How hard are they to assemble and how good do they sound?

3 for me - so had to slow down

Did recently go with this and have been well pleased.

Crossrock 2020 Deluxe - Fiberglass, not the highest quality, but a step up from a poly case, nearly waterproof, and pretty hard.

I've only done 1 guitar from a kit. That was a les paul jr., it turned out real well and sounds better than I expected. Plays great. You may want to upgrade the electronics that come with the kit.

Mine was really easy to put together, just followed their Instructions and took care. Did a lot of taping and sanding.

Check out Eastman too, you can get the same quality and materials (IMO) for half the $$.

And I've had 5 Martins.

If you're just looking for a 335-style guitar in that price range and not a build project in particular, you should look at an Ibanez Artcore (like an AS-73). You can get one for not much more than that especially considering you'll have to probably pay for other things like paint. Also, Artcores I think are set necks whereas the kit will be bolt-on.

Not new, but the transformer in my crusty old Peavey Classic 30 has died, and the PCB has been patched up a couple times. My amp guy has stripped all the Peavey stuff out and hand-wired a Deluxe 5E3 circuit into it. Picking it up tonight.
