Back In Black. It was a big deal in 1980.

Not sure if it counts in this genre, but Jimi Hendrix Woodstock blew my mind and turned me onto the electric guitar.

Van Halen's 1984 if you want to call that 'metal'.

There’s a few but I’ll say Judas Priest-Unleashed in the East.

You already nailed my choice. Shout At The Devil was my first metal album. Blizzard Of Ozz was another one I loved a lot.

Probably this if we’re not gonna count KISS.

Shout at the Devil and Kiss Alive II. I had to start somewhere.

Hard Rock: Led Zeppelin I
The first time I heard "Communication Breakdown" was transformative.
Metal: Paranoid - Black Sabbath
I remember being in 7th grade. I had heard of Ozzy Osborne, that he was this son of the Devil, with this satanic music. I don't know what I expected this album to sound like, but it was nothing like his reputation. I was absolutely hooked (I guess I was expecting something way heavier and incomprehensible like Job for A Cowboy).
"Fairies Wear Boots" was the song that taught me blues pentatonic scales before I even knew any of the music theory behind them. I remember trying to learn the guitar leads on my trumpet before marching band rehearsals.
"War Pigs" is still one of my favorite songs. "Paranoid" was one of the first 10 songs, probably, that I learned to play on guitar.
Ironically enough, my gateway into heavier metal was actually "Faint" by Linkin Park. To that point, it was the heaviest song I had ever heard. However, the first real metal album that I probably listened to which hooked me was probably either:
Ride the Lightening - Metallica
OR
Blackbird - Alter Bridge
