Saw them tonight in Birmingham, and man, they still sound incredible. Henley sounds like he did in the 70s. Walsh is still shredding. Vince Gill is a great add to the band. Had the pleasure of hearing Deacon Frey sing a few songs with them (he’s no longer full-time with the Eagles, but came back as a guest). He looks and sounds so much like Glenn.

5 stars from me.

Ignore the down votes. Alltime classic album, and those guys still do it justice even at age 75. Incredible.

I was stupefied Saturday night at how on point they still are. Plus Smith, Gill, and Deacon for his dad's tunes. They played for over three hours.

Awesome concert.

I saw them twice. Once with Frey and once with Vince Gill.

The Eagles were better "live" with Gill.

Vince Gill can add to anything. That guy is as good as it gets.

I saw them in Nola Saturday night and was amazed at how good they still sound, especially considering Timothy B. Schmidt, Henley and Walsh are all 75 years old.

Saw them in Houston earlier this year. Their backing vocals were so tight and flawless (and consistent with the recorded version) that I questioned if they had backing tracks? Is that sacrilege, or do bands of that stature actually do that? Or are they just still that good.

I noted that Don Henley is really the only original member and my friend replied "Don Henley and Friends Present the Music of the Eagles". That was pretty clever but that thought stuck with me throughout the night.

Did not enjoy Joe Walsh's mugging and face contortions...but he did say (paraphrasing) that he had more fun being in his 20's in the 70's than being in his 70's in the 20's. No doubt.

True, but Walsh has been around just about the entire time that they've been big, and Timothy B. Schmit has been with them since 1977. So, while they're not "original" they've been around long enough to be full-fledged members of the band, imo.

Also, shout out to Steuart Smith who plays in Felder's spot. He was fantastic.

Totally agree about Steuart Smith. I had never heard of him before. He had a lot of important parts and nailed them all.

Yeah, he was spot on. Didn't feel like anything was missing. Just a fun band to watch with a ton of talent.

Saw him earlier this year. 1000%. I knew he was good going in but I didn't expect what I witnessed. Incredible performance.

Was there last night and really enjoyed. Agree re: Gill and Smith. Favorite moment was rocked out version of Witchy Woman and Funk 49.

Agree

I've also seen him on his own twice at The Ryman.

They have always rehearsed the shite out of harmonies/backing vocals since 1939.
