Double album and all good... although it's country-western-rock mix is not for everyone.

I'm sure there's a documented backstory I don't know about, but I have to assume the producer/record company said "we need at least one song that shows your soft side" and the whipped it up in 5 minutes. Instead of just putting Patience on there which was already in their repertoire and was relegated to an EP. Can you imagine how badass and perfect Appetite would have been if you swapped out Think About You with Patience?

You Could be Mine was the first song they cut from the album, if you could believe that!
(I do like Think About You, though)

Pretty Hate Machine is a great choice, as is Weezer's Blue album.
To add to the list, I'll throw out The Creek Drank the Cradle by Iron & Wine.

Hootie and the Blowfish.
Cracked Rear View.
Epic and I think it was a debut album. Someone fact check this for me.
Certified 22X platinum and remember that's 22 million sales in only the USA

Epic was on Faith No More's 3rd album "The Real Thing"
Which Epic are you talking about?

I was scrolling through my iTunes library this evening and decided to run this through the old Sennheisers. There aren't many albums that sound better than this one.
