went to a Tedeschi Trucks show at the Saenger in Pcola a few months back.

There were only 4 people in the entire theater standing and dancing. Guess who they were standing in front of...

Went to see them last year and the woman in front of me went Facebook live and held her arms straight up above her head. It left me watching the concert through her phone. And I’m talking for songs in end, more then once.

I went on Facebook and chimed in on her stream. It stopped with the quickness.

There are really only 2 things that bother me at concerts.

1. Seat crashers. The people that think they can sit in your seat because their friends are sitting in the same row/area.

2. Groups of people sitting near you that talk THE WHOLE SHOW. It's especially bad during opening acts. Like I get you may now know the opening act, but take your conversation to the concourse/lobby. Some do know the opening act and want to see them.

Everything else is just part of the experience and I can mostly ignore.

You need to be prepared to stand for the entire concert. Don't go if you don't want to be engaged.

I can go to a show with a crowd of 30 people or 30000 and I can gaurentee I will be next to the drunkest sorority sloot there crashing into everyone around her the entire time. It’s my curse.

Bitches who think they need to be on their boyfriends shoulders. Usually 17-22 and have an inflated sense of self worth. If you’re not taking your titties out, get the frick down.

My pet peeves:

1. Cell phones out for longer than a few seconds. Flash photography, etc.

2. Talking the whole show

3. Ruining another’s experience because you are drunk and loud

Slightly off topic but I like how in America you can buy a beer without having to go to the bar.

Is it like that every gig?

I don't understand standing at concerts or football games.

This is certainly better than the drunk, shirtless fat guys crashing into everyone that I usually deal with.

The singing part is an issue. That does suck at shows. But look grandpa, its a rock and roll concert People are going to stand up and dance. You're gonna have to deal with it

I dunno man, when I saw Brit Floyd, the entire crowd was sitting except for this one obnoxious chick, who felt the need not only to stand, but add cheesy showmanship to every fricking lyric, all in the direction of the (clearly embarrassed) dude sitting in the next seat over. I've seen some pretty women getting a sexy groove on during a show, and I never complain, but this wasn't one of those times, lol...

I've stood on my feet the entire midnight set at Big Cypress with no breaks, so I'm OK with not sitting...but generally speaking, I'm also fine with "majority rules".

Came to post this. I've never been to a concert that had anything other than General Admission. This "sitting" concept is foreign to me.

OP sounds like the a-hole who tells at me for standing and yelling when my football team is on defense.
