Voodoo 02: No Doubt followed by 311. brought down the house.

Snoop Dog opening for RHCP was awesome

Foo Fighters @ Jazzfest 2012. Galactic opened up for them and it was great.

Dave Matthews Band in Dallas 2010- best musicians i've ever seen. Don't count that as rock but it was amazing.

STP at the Horseshoe in Shreveport 2010. They played all the hits and killed it. I had a bruise on my abdomen from the rail. Caught Robbie DeLeo's pick.

anyone saying Hendrix, SRV, Floyd and the original Allman Bros to name a few, I am incredibly jealous.

My post received a dislike from someone for saying I like the above people.

I guess since I've only been to one, it would have to be AC/DC in the Hirsch Coliseum in Shreveport around 1985. It was the "Who Made Who" tour, the soundtrack to "Maximum Overdrive".

When Down opened for Metallica a few years ago in the Arena I thought they up-staged Metallica! It was a great show with a hometown crowd. To finish it off, Metallica came out and played "Bury me in smoke" with Down. Awesome show!

I was fortunate to be hitting my teens around the time of the rock & roll explosion of the mid to late 60's. I will carry the memory of Janis Joplin with me to my grave. But one of the greatest memories of that Pop Festival was a Cajun fiddler named Doug Kershaw. He lit that place up !

Honestly I saw one of them two days ago. Tom Petty at Hangout this year blew me away. I had not seen him before but have heard many of his sets sound the same. Some people who have seen him multiple times said this one was way different. Got real bluesy and a little spacy at some points. And of course brought the house down throughout with all of his hits. Was a lot of fun.

Yep, that's the one. Also, I guess it wasn't PMAC back then, it was just the Assembly Center. Saw Pink Floyd, ELP and Frank Zappa there too.

After watching this- Bon Jovi live in Philadelphia 1989 I've narrowed my down from the three above
I'm not ashamed to say that the best rock show I've ever seen is Bon Jovi on August 4th, 1989 at Alpine Valley in East Troy WI
