I love Igor Cavalera and John Dolmayan.

However, they’re waaaaaaaay down the list of best METAL drummers.

With that said, both have very interesting styles of playing due to their respective Brazilian and Armenian folk influences.

How in the high holy hell has the name Mike Portnoy not been mentioned yet?

A drumming savant that effortlessly creates and recreates any music devised.

Nicko McBrain from Iron Maiden.

I don't think he's the best drummer of all time, but he's really good.

You seem to be unfamiliar with Gavin Harrison, Ryan Van Poederooyen, Tomas Haake, Zach Hill, Morgan Agren, and several others who I'm forgetting right now.

This is the only surviving video from the concert that became Live at Leeds. It is just some snippets and mediocre quality. But it's just gold and really captures what made Moon so great live, in his prime.

Modern times, Pete Thomas edges Stewart Copeland.

All time, tough. Depends on how one is feeling at any given moment.

Coin flip for all the other all-timers but Michael B. and the late great John Blackwell for Prince's NPG were DAMN ROCK SOLID AND GREAT DRUMMERS, VERY UNDERRATED also Sheila E. the Queen of Percussion need I say more?
